Bambinex Bamboo Washable Nappy (individual)

These award winning bamboo nappies are absolutely superb, they are high in the rise, great for boys and tummy sleepers, they have longer wings and cross over tabs to fit the chunky monkey and the skinny minney alike.

The nappy provides extra protection and has covered elastic at the legs and waist. The adjustable Velcro tabs ensure a neat fit around the baby’s bottom. The absorbent fabric is made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% polyester.

Our loose boosters offer flexiblility and can be added, and taken away as required.

Why Bamboo?

Because bamboo is a plant with numerous natural properties.

Bamboo does not need extra watering and thrives without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. It does not require monoculture farming and does not pollute.

Bamboo is naturally antibacterial, dust mite proof and anti-allergic.

Bamboo is at least 80% more absorbent than cotton and dries 20% faster.

The BAMBINEX bamboo fabric is very thick, silky and soft. It does not irritate baby’s skin and lets it breathe, thus avoiding nappy rash.

Finally, bamboo is the perfect answer to temperature control problems inside the nappy. Maximum temperature inside the nappy (especially for boys) should be 34°C, exactly the temperature BAMBINEX reusable nappies create.

Why do I have to launder the nappies and the booster pads before use?

When you buy new towels, you also have to launder them before use to make them absorbent.

Exactly the same principle applies to the bamboo fabric the nappies and booster pads are made of.

The thread gliding agents (wax) used during the spinning and weaving process tend to make the fibres waterproof. So you have to launder all fabric items to remove this wax and make the bamboo fabric fully absorbent.

The nappies are available in different sizes.
S1 (size 1) fits newborns and babies up to 10 kg.
S2 (size 2) is suitable for children from 10 to 20 kg and more.

The Bamboo Size 2 nappy's waist size is approx. 63cm.
